Rose Of Choice is yet to appear on course competitively in 2015 but has opened as and maintained status as outright favourite in 2015 Dark Jewel Classic betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au; currently available at $4.40 odds for success.

Posting seven wins and as many minors through 20 career starts so far, Rose Of Choice found exceptional form for new trainers Peter and Paul Snowden through spring; finishing in the minors in both the Group 3 The Nivison (1200m) and Group 3 Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes (1400m) most notably and ending her campaign a credible fifth in the December Handicap (1550m).

Allocated the central barrier 6, the Choisir mare has been confirmed to be partnered by veteran hoop Jim Cassidy.

Calming Influence ($5) will need some luck in running in the 2015 Dark Jewel Classic from barrier 11 but has maintained status as sole occupant of the second line after finding competitive form in her most recent start.

Finishing outside the firs three only a handful of times through her 15 career starts so far, the Commands mare poked clear of a notable field to win the George Watson BM90 (1400m) on January 1st but returned to the paddock after failing to match the pace and seventh in the Group 3 Triscay Stakes (1200m) on February 14th.

Having placed third in the Group 3 Darley Crown (1300m) first-up last weekend, Calming Influence is yet to have a jockey confirmed for the 2015 Dark Jewel Classic.

Kiwi raider Diademe will step-back from a mile to 1400m for the 2015 Dark Jewel Classic, and while charged with carrying a race-high 59kgs, maintains position on the third line of betting at generous $6.50 odds.

Booking her trip to Australia with wins in the Group 3 Westbury Classic (1300m) and Group 1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1600m) through March and April, Diademe failed to match the late pace in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) on Day 2 of The Championships but is sure to be offered a gem of a ride from Blake Shinn this weekend.

Newcastle-based mare Fine Bubbles ($7.50) interestingly figures as the only other runner currently available at a quote of less-than $10 in 2015 Dark Jewel Classic betting markets, while Bound For Earth ($13), My Sabeel ($10) and Scorpio Queen ($21) all offer exceptional value for money at double figure odds.
